Good morning! Today, S4P’s “Join!” page is going live. As we gear up for the coming months, we invite you to help us get the word out about Governor Palin on campuses across the country. Over the last year, we’ve realized that among our peers there are many young people who would be inclined to support Governor Palin if they knew anything about her policies. Perhaps many of them already do and, for whatever reason, they’re afraid to make their opinions known. We intend for our local S4P chapters to serve two purposes: (1) to put Governor Palin’s young supporters in touch with one another, and (2) to provide a mechanism by which these young, talented supporters can creatively spread the message to our peers. Of course, we can’t do it without YOU! Judging by how busy we are, we understand how busy all of you must be. It’s certainly a lot easier to choose apathy over action. Today, we’re asking you to make a little time for a cause that is unspeakably important. As Reagan said in his famous “Time for Choosing” speech,
“If all of this seems like a great deal of trouble, think what’s at stake. We are faced with the most evil enemy mankind has known in his long climb from the swamp to the stars. There can be no security anywhere in the free world if there is no fiscal and economic stability within the United States.”
America’s future hangs in the balance. Will you accept the call? Or will you, by your inaction, sentence the next generation “to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness?” Join us today!
