Organize4Palin Reloads For 2012

We are excited to announce that American Grizzlies United (AGU), the same group that brought you Organize4Palin, is ready to shake up the 2012 elections!

The nationwide network of Palin supporters is arguably one of the most powerful and unconventional forces in politics today. In 2012 we will be using this network to promote common sense conservatives at every level of government.

Here is more on what’s to come:

Pioneers Of Politics

We’d like to encourage everyone to look into a new aspect of our fight for conservative values on a broader scale. Its called ‘Pioneers Of Politics’ and it was officially launched this morning by two Students 4 Palin. We’re very excited about stepping up our influence and getting more involved in securing our future by reaching other like-minded peers for the conservative cause. As was stated in the North to the Future post, we are not abandoning Governor Palin in any way whatsoever; we are embracing her decision and acting accordingly. This site, group, and coalition will remain; but it will also be expanding into a new venture. We feel that now is the time to promote Governor Palin’s and our conservative values and the cause, as opposed to promoting her personally. There may be a time to promote the Governor personally as a candidate, but that time is not now. Obviously she feels this way as well, or she would be running for office. By lifting up and spreading the word of the values and ideals that shaped Governor Palin and shaped us we will do a greater service to our country. We hope you’ll come along with us as we take direct action to set a course for our future, as our ancestors once did when they surveyed the vast wilderness that they would one day carve a nation out of. Not all have the pioneering spirit that Governor Palin has spoken of, but we do, and we hope you do too.

North To The Future

We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.” -General Douglas MacArthur

Prior to Governor Palin’s announcement on October 5th we were operating under the assumption, as many were in O4P, that she was running for President of the United States and had simply chosen not to say so. Our strategy held that the best way to reach other students and other citizens was under the banner of Governor Palin’s candidacy. This simply is not so any longer.

When Governor Palin announced that she was not running for president, we were just as disappointed as many of you, but we know that life goes on and that we have a country to save. Governor Palin knows this as well. We’ve decided to change our strategy, as Governor Palin is not operating as a candidate we should not operate as if she is one. Therefore we will continue our work for the causes and values that we have championed here and that Governor Palin has and still champions.

A new grassroots site has emerged from our friends and fellows in the Palin movement, Grizzly Fest. A place for Palin supporters and conservatives alike to gather to talk about the past, present and future of the Palin movement and the causes that have shaped it. We encourage you all to check out Grizzly Fest and use it to remain involved. I truly believe that those of us in the Palin movement and the principled Tea Party will be the ones to “renew, revive, and restore” America, so it is of the utmost importance for us to remain organized with each other.

We will remain as Students for Palin, individually and as a group, but we will be advancing in another direction for the same cause. Some of us will be moving on and starting a new site to reach our fellow students and citizens under a different banner and a different name, a way that we view as best under the circumstances. We want to encourage you to use the Grizzly Fest site, to use our new site when it is active, and to most importantly remain involved. We have all been inspired by Governor Palin, we should use that inspiration and all that she has taught us to further the cause.

With that being said, I want to encourage you to branch out more than you already have. Search inside yourselves and see what it is that you can personally do to ensure the fundamental restoration of America. Young people and regular citizens are still out there and we need to organize the “great conservative majority” that Ronald Reagan spoke of. I do believe undoubtedly that our values and principles of limited government and accountability are in the majority. I am not here to discourage anyone from operating a “4Palin” site, but this site will be less active now that our strategy has changed.

Governor Palin has repeatedly said that she “doesn’t need a title to make a difference”. I’m here to tell you that she doesn’t need a title for us to make a difference. The cause is bigger than Governor Palin and bigger than any one person. At this time it is the cause that we need to lift up and promote, not Governor Palin herself. Promoting her in a future election may still be in the stars, and we’ll be there then, but only time will tell. I believe that her candidacy in 2012 would have made our fight easier, but since when is anything that is worth fighting for easy?

I’m reminded of what Steve Bannon has said when asked why he called his film “The Undefeated”. Bannon said that it was not Governor Palin who was undefeated, but it was her values that were undefeated. Our job is to ensure that those same values remain undefeated. We are not giving up on the cause or on Governor Palin, we are embracing her decision, and joining her in the trenches for the conservative cause in the fight for the heart and soul of our country. I hope you will join us.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain.

Wednesday Round Up

- Politico has a story which could potentially mean good things for Palin supporters:

Ken Vogel and I both have sources telling us that calls were made on behalf of a mystery candidate to various early states to determine presidential filing deadlines.

The calls were made by representatives of the law firm Baker Hostetler – a firm that employs lawyer Mark Braden, who represents Sarah PAC, her political action committee

This is exciting news! Though it is from unnamed sources, so we will keep our eye out for more concrete evidence.

- Kunta Evans has a great piece about Governor Palin called “The Fighter”

Don’t lose heart because we’re waiting. Use this time to get right and understand what’s at stake. Because we know our champion is going to go with her instincts. We have to be right and ready to move when she’s ready to make her championship run.

- For the six millionth time, Chris Christie confirmed at 1 P.M. yesterday that he is not running for President:

“Now is not my time,” he said at a press conference in Trenton. And, showcasing his humor, Christie gave a message to the state’s citizens: “Whether you like it or not, you’re stuck with me.”

He really means it this time.

Monday Round Up

-Herman Cain gave a fantastic interview on the ‘Tonight Show’ last weekend. I especially enjoyed the part where he gave a quick thought on each of the GOP candidate.

- The founder of BET tells Obama, “You don’t get people to like you by attacking them or demeaning their success.” Like most, if not all, small business owners Johnson says he, “went into business to create jobs, value and opportunities for himself and his investors.” Why would the government want to discourage that kind of helpful behavior by creating more and more burdening taxes and regulations?

- Perry on in-state tuition for illegals: How else were they supposed to pay for it?

- Interview with Joel Pollak: “Why Sarah Palin Could Be the First Jewish President”

CF: When we will have the first Jewish president?
JP:
I think if Sarah Palin runs, she’ll be the first Jewish president.

CF: What?
JP:
Sarah Palin is treated as Jews have been treated for generations: no matter what she does, she’s wrong. She’s either too religious or not religious enough; she’s a housewife who can’t function as governor, or she’s the governor who doesn’t take care of her domestic duties. All the things are thrown at her in the same way that Jews were targeted. She’s identified herself [with Israel] and has shown empathy for the things that the Jewish community cares about in a way that I think has yet to achieve the right recognition. She sent out a picture recently to supporters—not Jewish supporters, but her general supporters—and it’s a picture of her in front of the Statue of Liberty and she’s wearing a Jewish star. Maybe not since the Puritans founded America and gave biblical names to each other has there ever been such a positive identification with Jewish symbolism, so I like to joke that Sarah Palin will be the first Jewish president.

The full interview is excellent so check it out!
